Accessibility
BOB does not ask anyone to learn a new interface. It lives inside WhatsApp and Telegram, apps most people already use, so it inherits the accessibility support those platforms already provide: screen reader compatibility, adjustable text size, voice messages, and high-contrast display modes.
Does BOB work with screen readers?
Section titled “Does BOB work with screen readers?”Since conversations happen inside WhatsApp and Telegram, BOB’s messages are read the same way any other message in those apps is, through whatever screen reader or accessibility tool a customer already uses.
Can customers use voice instead of typing?
Section titled “Can customers use voice instead of typing?”Yes, WhatsApp and Telegram both support voice messages, and a customer can send BOB one the same way they would to a person.
Is the documentation site itself accessible?
Section titled “Is the documentation site itself accessible?”These docs use real headings, readable text, and a light and dark theme. If you hit an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, let us know through Help & support so we can fix it.
