Send a review request after a purchase
You set up BOB to ask a customer for a review shortly after a purchase or a completed job, at the moment they are most satisfied, without you having to remember every single time.
When should this message go out?
Section titled “When should this message go out?”Right after the customer has had a chance to experience what they bought, immediately after a quick product, a day or two after a service, whatever fits your business.
How do I set this up?
Section titled “How do I set this up?”- Connect the tool that tells BOB a purchase or job is complete (your payments tool, calendar, or CRM), see Connect an external API.
- Open Chat with Bob and describe the job, for example: “Two days after a completed job, thank the customer on WhatsApp and ask for a Google review, with the link.”
- Tell BOB what to do if the customer replies with a complaint instead of a review, so an unhappy customer gets routed to you, not a public review request.
What if the customer is not happy?
Section titled “What if the customer is not happy?”Set an escalation rule: if the reply sounds negative, BOB stops the review ask and flags it to you instead. See Hand off to a human when it matters.
Does this work for one-off jobs and recurring customers alike?
Section titled “Does this work for one-off jobs and recurring customers alike?”Yes, the trigger is “a purchase or job just finished,” which fits both a single sale and a repeat client relationship.
