Migrate your existing FAQs into BOB
If you already have a FAQ page, a sales script, a price list, or a policy document, you do not need to rewrite any of it. Upload the file as it is, and BOB reads it and quotes it back accurately.
What can I bring over?
Section titled “What can I bring over?”Any PDF, Word (.docx), or plain text (.txt, .md) file, your website’s FAQ exported as text, a price list, a script your team already uses, up to 50 documents.
How do I bring it in?
Section titled “How do I bring it in?”- Open Teach Bob and scroll to Knowledge base.
- Drop the file in, or click to upload, exactly as you have it today.
- Test it in Chat with Bob: ask a question the way a real customer would, in different words than the document uses, and confirm BOB answers correctly.
Do I need to reformat anything first?
Section titled “Do I need to reformat anything first?”No. BOB reads the document and understands it, you do not need to convert it into a Q&A format first.
What if my FAQ lives on a website, not a file?
Section titled “What if my FAQ lives on a website, not a file?”Copy the text into a plain .txt or .md file and upload that. A future update may support pulling directly from a URL.
